One of the breakout hits of the summer so far is Sony’s animated sequel “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” which has just crossed $300 million domestically as of Friday, making it the third film of the year to achieve that benchmark after “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” and “Guardians of the Galax...
I enjoyed the movie a lot. It had a lot of references to older comics and films. Unfortunately, the audio issue that apparently affected the initial release impacted our viewing experience. Otherwise, solid B+ or A-. I put it above any of the MCU Spidey films.
It's an amazing movie, I was stunned by the art style and visuals the whole time. The use of colour and style to represent emotion in the different universes was amazing. The way they had the villain fight using his unique powers was also really cool.
I loved it. My buddy and I took edibled before it and as the movie started to get intense our edibles were hitting and we both walked out saying it was the best mover ever lol
Believe it or not I remembered the whole thing! First spiderverse was my favorite movie when it came out (watched baked in theaters also, basically a tradition) so I made sure I was fully paying attention at all times. I went to see it again like 2 weeks later and there wasn’t anything that I had forgot😄
I thought it was visually the best movie I've ever seen. It's in a league of it's own. All the different universe styles are so wonderful and unique and tie into the story wonderfully. The story was great, but I'll reserve final judgement till we see how it ends in beyond the spiderverse.
