Good ol' GE, such a quirky product line: coffee makers, jet engines, alarm clocks, gatling guns, washing machines, and nuclear power plants.
Well, if you can make a washing machine, you can make a nuclear power plant.
Popcorn machine from 1978 still going strong after being fixed and repaired by me three times now. I bought one new modern popcorn machine because it was on sale ... it burnt out in two months and the built in electronics were designed to never be fixed. The old 1978 unit is basically just a blower motor operated by switch, controlled by a simple thermostat attached to a heating coil .. every part is easily accessible and can be fixed ... all of it easily repairable, fixable and parts replaceable.

Oh, we had one of these. It damn near caught the kitchen on fire one day about a decade ago.

I think there is a recall on some of those pots because the handle can fall off.

Yep, corningware. Decent glassware, plentiful in thrift stores.
The GE heater would fail on these and catch the whole house on fire.
My grandparents had the exact same coffee maker / pot combo.
