"National Black Cat Day was created by Cats Protection on 27 October 2011 to help celebrate the majesty of monochrome moggies and beautiful black cats. When the campaign was launched, statistics revealed that black and black-and-white cats took, on average, seven days longer to find a home compared to cats of other colours."
That's just weird. I love voids. I've already given notice that our next two cats (not for a while yet, as the current two are going strong and showing no signs of keeling over) will be a void and an orange one.
Over the pond here in PA, here's our little void cat, Sweetie, AKA Sweets Petites from the Streets. She is a rescue from street life and shitty neighbors.
Black cats of all nationalities are welcome :) The charity that declared the day is from the UK, but the idea that "black cats are beautiful and shouldn't be overlooked" is worldwide :)
