AI training scrubs authorship knowledge from open source code
After a decade of cryptofascism and failed political activism, our dear friend jart is realizing that they don't really have much of a positive legacy. If only there was something they could have done about that.
Side sneer here for the Lobsters admin in this thread. They "hadn't recognized" jart from her domain and flatly refuse to acknowledge any of the dangerous political positions she holds. Typical. Also the sock thinks that we should debate fascists rather than banning and silencing them.
Non-Nazis, shockingly, are capable of recognizing "sure, they're following the rules right now; but they're still Nazis" and deciding not to associate with them. The people who are willing to associate with Nazis... well, you know.
I feel like you’re just kinda reaching here so you can tar the author with a badthink wrongtribe brush
I want the badthink wrongtibe brush to be 6 feet long, hewn from ancient oak, and adorning the mantle in the hidden room. The ink can be a special blend of volcanic ash, wildfire ash, meteorite dust, and blood.
To construct the Badthink Wrongtribe Brush you must first venture to find the ancient Badthink Handle (hewn from ancient oak), and then defeat a herd of viscious Sealions for the Wrongtribe Hairs.
When the stars are right the Brush can be forged anew, in the Forge of Usenet.
jart is already banned: https://lobste.rs/~jart &, as that comment makes clear, their entire domain is now completely banned from lobste.rs. I think you might be overcompensating a tad here?
Nah, @corbin is right. The lobste.rs guy should be dunked on because he's only having to powerspray shit off of his porch because he allowed the Nazis on. If lobste.rs had a "No Nazis" sign at the door, this wouldn't have happened.
Therefore, the correct action is to point and laugh.
