Looks like it would be fun to glitch around in, might check it out. Starfield wasn't a bad game, just that the more and more I played, it became increasingly obvious that the entire thing was a blatantly copy-pasted experience right to the core.

I tend to really like Bethesda open world games but I only played Starfield for about 10 hours, when it launched. I think the moment I really gave up on it was the first big open-world mission of the main quest (the one with the icy planet, fragments and the temple thing at the end, can't really remember much else).
I found the large, procedurally generated terrains dull and traversing them on foot was incredibly tedious. Too much of the game felt like a chore to be an enjoyable experience. It was a shame, since a lot of work had clearly gone into the game and there definitely was the potential for something much better.
If they can get the feel and physics of the vehicles right + some decent mods from the community, I could easily see myself actually playing through this game a couple of times. Hopefully this is the start of a redemption arc for it
