Lemmy is still a growing platform, and doesn't have the same number of people posting as a platform like Reddit. So let's try and change that! Today is weekly reset day, so post below about something you've managed to accomplish during the last week!
Finally got past Fusefield in M3S Prog (I love PF I love PF)
If you keep repeating it while rocking in the corner it might eventually become true... that or Stockholm Syndrome will kick in 😅
But congratulations regardless! I haven't got the time or inclination to try out Savage this tier 😅 And doing it in PF is achievement to be proud of... or a torture to survive through... but either way, well done 👍🏻
I finally leveled all combat jobs to 100. Today I'll try and get m1s-m3s reclears. I'm not very motivated to start m4s prog since I'm going on a trip next week and need to sort a few things beforehand.
Maxing all your combat jobs is still a massive achievement, well done! I have exactly 4 jobs at level 100 right now, the bare minimum I need to cover all 5 role quests 😅 (Scholar and Summoner both come from Arcanist, so you can argue it as 4 or 5 but I only had to level it once).
I had organised a house design commission back in March, and the design was finished and delivered yesterday! Here's the video showcase the designer Sally Snow put together for it.

No problem! I still haven't fully worked out how it's all put together yet myself 😅 This was why I got the commission done; people who have worked out how to layer things together to make things that technically aren't in the game are wizards wielding black magic and you can't convince me otherwise.

I finally got all crafters and gatherers to 100 and crafted myself a full set of gear and tools. Probably not gonna bother pentamelding since we're already so far into the tier but it's nice to have all that armoury space back.

Definitely consider pentamelding your accessories though! 7.1 will likely only give us LHS gear so the accessories should be good for a couple of patches.
Failing that, just stock up on materia instead 😊

- Recertified as omni-mentor.
- Found out I actually enjoy playing BLM in Frontlines! (Most of the time I PVP as DRG, so this is a big change in playstyle.)

I still have never tried Frontlines! My PvP experience is limited to Rival Wings (which I love but only ever pops during mog tome events) and Crystaline Conflict, and for that only in unranked. What's it like as a game mode?
Thank you! I have to do 3 EW EX fights myself — and even though I’ve unsynced most of the older extremes, I’d still like to go back and at least sync clear all of ARR and the Monster Hunter crossover since they’re likely to come up in roulette.
Frontlines is fun but a mess. It’s chaotic and how well you do comes down to whether or not there’s a shot caller to keep everyone on track. As an individual player, your best bet is to play defensively and stay with the group at all times. It pays really well though — there’s daily bonuses for both job and series XP, and you can level jobs by queueing in on them and then switching to whatever job you prefer for PVP at the start. There are Garo achievements linked to Frontline wins if you want those glams/mounts, too.
Finished my house! Might swap out a couple items once I get access to all the DT Bicolor Gemstone merchants, but for now, I'm very happy with it. Come visit on Exodus!

@Drusenija Panic-crafted a caster and a healing set on Saturday to help my BF's static with gear for flexing a role (SCH to SMN) and getting a substitute up and running (a friend who plays WHM), felt drained but accomplished afterwards.
Nearly got my alt through Dawntrail and managed to cap the weekly tomes after I hit 100 just a few hours before my bedtime, before weekly reset.
Oooh, I've been there for panic crafting gear 😂 Similar situation, we had someone drop out of a Savage static and had someone who could fill the spot but they weren't geared up for it. So I crafted the gear, another friend who was fairly involved in the hunt train scene and had materia to burn handled pentamelding it all and I think we had them geared up in under an hour. (Sadly that static fell apart before we cleared our first fight, but oh well).
Well done on capping your weeklies too 😊 In the grand scheme of things it's probably not going to hurt much if you don't but it's always a good feeling to have them maxed out.
