"Adventitious" is a good word. It means:
- Arising from an external cause or factor; not inherent.
- Of or belonging to a structure that develops in an unusual place. "adventitious roots."
- Added extrinsically; not essentially inherent; accidental or causal; additional; supervenient; foreign.

4 0 ReplyAs a Latin tongue speaker, most of these (all the previous comics too!) are super common ways to call things in our languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian). I find it rather curious seeing English speaking people finding these words bizarre (well except for the last one this time, that one i never saw before).
