Did you know there was a mass shooting in Indianapolis over the weekend? I briefly saw it on a news crawl, but didn't hear another word about it, so, by Monday, I assumed I had dreamt it. Nope.
Do liberals actually care about mass shootings or do they just hate white men?
Liberals don’t care about mass shootings. They just want to control people.
This is so fundamentally wrong, it is detached from reality wrong.
Liberals don't want to get shot, and don't want others to get shot. Liberals want children to to be safe, and not get shot.
Liberals, right or wrong, misguided or not, have ideas and plans they think will reduce mass shootings and loss of lives. It's not about controlling people, it's about saving innocent lives. They are prevented from implementing those plans.
I hope anyone reading this understands that having a different interpretation of the constitution and having different ideas about how to reduce senseless deaths -even if possibly mistaken or misguided- this doesn't mean it's about controlling people and doesn't mean they think the constitution is toilet paper. That's just extremist language intended to deligitimize someones difference of opinion.
Do democrats care about mass shootings? Because we could lower gun violence by legalizing all drugs. Do you hear of liquor stores shooting each other up over territory much these days?
So whats the hold up democrats? Prove your dedication to lowering gun violence and end the war on drugs. Clearly states can legalize marijuana, so you don't need to wait for federal reform.
Oh evil dems, why won't you fix 100% of america overnight?
You know why? Because every time a dem is elected they have to prioritize PULLING THE FUCKING COUNTRY OUT OF THE ECONOMIC DITCH THE PAST ADMINISTRATION HAS LEFT US IN. Are you 12?
Even a child should still remember the economic shithouse Trump left us in.
You don't remember 2008 when the economy was fucked and Obama had to restore trust in entire segments of the economy?
Apparently you're not a fan of history, you'd know it's hardly an isolated event - Clinton fixing up the fuckups of Bush, FDR literally rebuilding the economy?
How is it that you're so very vociferous about Drug reform and so very ignorant about everything else? Yeah, it's important, but it's on a list of other MUCH MORE IMPORTANT priorities, and also, it's the conservatives fighting it.
So tired of idiots acting like the dems have to fix everything every damned time they take power - how about conservatives not fucking up the nation for a few terms for a change?
Even a child should still remember the economic shithouse Trump left us in.
Given that so many voter reminisce fondly about Trump's economy and think he's better on the economy than Biden, I'm gonna have to disagree with the sentiment. You're right: like all Republicans, Trump is a demonstrably worse on the economy than any democrat, but voters genuinely believe otherwise.
Conservatives managed to blame Bush's economic disaster on Bill Clinton (for signing a deregulation bill sponsored and presented by 3 prominent Republicans) and Obama. Their line with Obama was "well he's president now, it's his responsibility!!" and accused him of tanking the economy, as if it makes ANY sense. Meanwhile you have Trump saying "I don't take accountability for anything" and the same people think he's great. Trump claimed the economy under him was a 'disaster' because of Obama, nothing to do with Trump, yet also recently tried to take credit for low unemployment and rising wages under Biden. Massive inflation caused by Trump's policies goes uncommented upon, of course. Or in conservative world, same shit as Obama - "the BIDEN economy!!". Republicans manage to take credit for anything positive and blame anything negative on Democrats even when it has nothing to do with facts, logic or reality. A real "heads I win tails you lose" line of bullshit. It's a trait of narcissism.
The war on drugs is historically championed by conservatives, as it was originally Reagan's thinly veiled cover for persecuting the black and hippie communities.
Biden has pardoned thousands of non-violent drug offenders. What's the next step you'd like to see? Be specific.
Which states and political groups do you think were behind legalizing weed in the first place? I'll give you a hint... it wasn't conservatives in Alabama.
