Any FOSS SMS apps that support reactions? I want to stop using Google's "Messages" app. QUIK SMS doesn't support them.

How can you send a reaction via SMS when the protocol does not support this feature.
- Presumably they're talking about RCS
  
  lol but thats totally not SMS
There is a Signal FOSS that forked from Signal which has reactions.
- I would love it if there is a Signal fork that keeps media downloaded in an easily accessible directory.
- But it's not SMS anymore, unfortunately
  
  But SMS does not support any reactions other than the original basic ones.
  
  The forked one still does SMS.
