Gotta be one of the most fucked up news articles I have seen recently. If this doesn't illustrate how bad things are here I don't know what does.
Doesn't explain how he affords to live in Calgary, at home with mom and dad?
He lives with parents and only pays for utilities, no rent, so he spends $1200 a month on flights instead of $2000 or $2500 on rent.

I cannot believe he pays $300 for a week of flights.
Also, if that's his transit costs, he must live AT the airport or can teleport there an hour or so ahead of his flight to get through security and make it to his gate.
Why isn't travel to and from YYC and YVR and waiting at the gates part of his listed commute?
The math seems weird.
Yeah that's the only way I could see this working.
I'm surprised he makes it to class on time, my flights are rarely on time when I fly anymore.
Yeah, but calgary is way Cheaper than Vancouver even if he had to pay rent.
Or you could just go to university in Calgary or somewhere more affordable?
He only needed one more year to get his degree
