Can't remember if its was 22 short or long but mythbusters did an episode on dieing to using 22 as a stand in for a glass fuse. Completely plauseable
10 1 ReplyA .22lr fits in some 3AG fuse holders. They do produce an audible alert when they blow. I'm not sure what the current rating is though.
