I never go downtown, but when I do, I really love it.
Damn, I miss Portland. The downtown was nice, until the homeless people starts setting tents in the park.
- I can’t imagine things are any better now with so many seeking asylum.
  
  Yeah, the situation is shit everywhere, for many different reasons. I guess I can't blame the homeless folks themselves. Not sure if I could do any better in their position.
- Damn those people for…being poor and not having homes…
  
  I guess I can't complain because there's always someone in worse position than me, huh...
  
  Also, I take it you've never been to a city with homelessness issue.
I went to Portland for the first time this year and it reminded me of a giant version of my city, Victoria BC
