Thought I was having an aneurysm. Nope, an "ice pick headache". It happens all of a sudden -- for me, at my temple for 10 seconds -- and then goes away.
If I don't comment after this, please send help.
For me, my headache/migraines w/e, are like pseudo ice-pick or I have a high pain tolerance (I also have fibro). But feels ocular, it's always only one eye or the other that hurts. 🙂↔️
MRI/MRA were clean too so at least there's that for me.
I get them frequently around this time of year and found that making myself as cold as possible is the only thing that helps. I usually use an ice pack, water, and a fan first (with my head buried in a pillow to block out any sound) and if that's not enough, I'll go sit outside on the porch in a tshirt until I cool off and it goes away. It's super weird but it works.
Same! It's usually my right eye, and if I close it it helps. Doesn't stop entirely, but dampens it quite a bit.
