I’d be curious to know what THC dosage people use for their edibles. I alternate between 5mg and 10mg depending on how productive I want to be. 2500 would probably ruin my week.
I think I’m in the 100-200mg range. I make butter -> brownies and don’t have a reliable way to measure dosage but get consistent results. 2oz (decarbed) for 2 cups butter; turns into 48 brownies which I’ll only eat about a half brownie at a time. That amount will hit me harder than a 100mg store bought edible, but still manageable and a good time. Ive tried to calculate dosage but way too many variables (thc%, extraction, loss, etc) for an accurate number as a home cook. 2500mg has to be for splitting up
I mean, i don't think you could realistically eat that big ass gummy bear. Or it would take so long that you'd fall asleep.

lol I’m slowly trying to find my limit now that they’re legal here. Up to a 50mg dose and still don’t get any effects. Going for 75mg this weekend. I’m curious what level I need to get to for them to kick in.
The first handful of times I took edibles I got no effect from them. I had to keep going up to around 40 mg. After the first few attempts they started to hit harder and I’ve stuck to the lower amounts. I don’t know if there’s any science to back it but I’ve heard similar stories. Just wanted to share in case that 75 ends up being a wild ride.
My answer is yes, I’ll soak about an OZ of AVB for a couple days to filter it and moisten it back up (won’t absorb so much butter) and make some cannabutter out of it.
4cups of butter gives be about 2cups of cannabutter. I can get more butter out of the bud, but I find squeezing it pulls more water as well and that causes it to taste more foul. Losing some quantity for quality.
And I’ll make some cookies or whatever with the butter.
