The FCC is like the one agency they could shrink
I get it, it’s too late to go back to an era where radio waves were free, but the FCC has way too stringent rules. They should worry about things like protecting critical devices from interference and ensuring companies don’t fuck people over (monopolies, robocalls, stuff like that)
The normal FCC is not the issue.
Trump and his people threatening journalists is the problem.It is though. Like I said, certain tasks are important, but others are overreach (specifically what they do with censorship and control of certain airwaves)
Threatening freedom of the press is a more important issue right now.

CB doesn’t require passing a test. They only run at 5W. Ham radio, I think that’s more powerful, that’s what requires a license.
Im pretty sure you don't need a license to buy ham.
