12 is a far superior number to 10. It is sacrilege that we started using 10 instead of 12.
19 2 ReplyPeople already have problems comprehending orders of magnitude with base 10. At base 12 things would only be worse.
If anything we should go binary to better understand the difference between a billion and a million. š„ø
7 2 ReplyI really don't think the problem with people not understanding large numbers has anything to do with the base. It's just lots of people not having a good maths education.
