I quit reddit back in December, long before the API blackout, but as of last week I'm back on
Couldn't get into Instagram or Twitter, tried Lemmy after the blackout and that unfortunately just doesn't have enough people in smaller interest communities so I'm back to Reddit because even if the comments are endless circle jerks, it's still the best place to follow smaller communities for news.
Actually just opened Lemmy and this was the first post I saw, so I guess not much has changed around here. Y'all keep making leaving Reddit your main personality trait I guess...

How do you have enough books to max out storage! I have an entire collection of about 5k books and 4-5 comics downloaded on my 32 gb eink
Yes but are they doing anything for the streaming numbers that help for renewal?
RuneScape, back in 2007, not that I hadn't gamed before but that was my first real game.
I just installed the game after 13 years last week with a level 3 skiller in osrs. Just hit level 30 fishing, aiming for my first ever 99!
Bought a Kindle Paperwhite in 2018, loved that and still use it as my carry-around book because I prefer reading on that over my phone. Recently bought a Boox Nova 2 for note taking, I don't use it for that as often as I want to but I still love reading comics on Tachiyomi and regular books synced with my Kindle through their app. Love my einks cause the battery lasts for weeks at a time
Just create your own subreddit, anyone can do it. Make it private and forget it exists
Crazy when you realise the game only just released in China, next year they're going to be scary when the scene develops some more
You can see a little steam icon in-game and after playing for like an hour I only saw 1-2 of those. I think most people are still using b.net. 70k seems pretty good ngl
My solution to this was download everything on to my 256 gb phone, so I have about 50 gb of Spotify songs/podcasts and usually switch between various playlist downloads depending on what I'm listening to
Check out AirMessage, you can set it up on your Mac and as long as it's connected to the internet, you can use the AirMessage app to get iMessage on an android.
Alternatively there's Bubble but that requires you to Apple sign in to their system and didn't seem very safe but it doesn't require a mac
Totally anecdotal but I'd originally quit Reddit back in December and was an avid Sync user. Heard about Lemmy during the reddit drama and could just never get into it. After ljdawson dropped Sync, started to get into Lemmy!
Best order to get into the show without having to watch everything?
Spent 20 minutes trying to find a thread that fit what I wanted but everyone seems to be willing to watch all of Star Trek. I tried TOS and while it's not bad I don't want to watch every single episode of Star Trek to get into the show...
What's the best order to watch the most universally enjoyed Star Trek series' and movies? I really enjoyed Lower Decks as a fan of Final Space and Strange New World's looks incredible. I want to start with the earlier series but not have to watch all of it!
I haven't used Logseq, but I've found trying to categorise notes in Obsidian made me use it less so I just rely on backlinks as tags and to create connections between notes and dump most things in the primary vault folder. I've gotten comfortable journaling using daily notes with templates.
