Shit posting, nice.
The Nin9es
The Nines: Directed by John August. With Ryan Reynolds, Melissa McCarthy, Hope Davis, Elle Fanning. A troubled actor, a television show runner, and an acclaimed videogame designer find their lives intertwining in mysterious and unsettling ways.
A friend recommended this to me years ago and it has stuck with me. I don't recommend it often, but when I do, I recommend it strongly. Is anyone else here a fan?
This is a great analogy. There are parts of my city I love visiting, but I'm glad to get back to my neighborhood at the end of the day.
I didn't see anyone mention photos. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't like the processing on iPhone pictures. They all look a bit soft.
They may win in video, I don't care about that enough for it to matter. Android cameras get way better development, partnerships, and processing, IMO.
Every time I show an iphone user that I can put my apps at the bottom, it blows their mind.
I may still click Reddit links in Google searches if I can't find answers elsewhere.
My plan is to try to use this exclusively and advertise it to my friends who are looking to get away from Reddit as well.
I don't know how long it took to get to that 73k number, but there is plenty of time to rebuild on a platform that better respects the user.
It wasn't showing previously, but now they both have upvotes so I guess they both get to stay?
I've not listened to The Chariot in a good long while, thanks for the reminder!
Looks like my comment might not have saved.
I think it should be a year.
The way overdue bills and overdraft fees would start to pile up. Trying to watch them plan for holidays or birthday spending...
Get the popcorn ready!

I'm just waiting for my next paycheck to hit!
I never thought the snails in our tanks would be as much fun as they've turned out to be.
I've also done this. It makes it really easy to forget about Reddit, to some extent.
Thanks for that!
My biggest concern was the pan as well. The angles seem less like science and more like magic. Maybe I'll outsource parts of the project ha ha!
Would you recommend this project to a relative novice? I have this dream of adding a shower to our half bath.
Please don't take offense, because I mean this as a compliment: this sounds like the music from F-Zero if it were metal. I kinda love it for that!
My wife, who is not a metal head, was amazed to discover the vast number of sub-genres within the broader metal community. Like what you like, other people can like what they like and that's ok!
As a classically trained musician, have you looked into Tool at all? Their song construction is amazingly complex and fascinating.
I'm a person who likes to fix. Sometimes that's not what my wife wants, though, she just wants to vent and be heard. I've learned to ask if she wants to be heard or if she wants me to offer solutions and that has really helped. I've started to apply this to other people in my life as well.
Nu-metal gets a bad wrap, but without it, modern metal wouldn't be what it is.
There's this magical moment when it just "clicks" for them. It's a beautiful moment. Enjoy!
We call him Tanker Truck
We adopted him weighing 24 lbs. Working on getting him trimmed down a bit, but he's a handsome meatball right now!
Any other metal heads make it here yet?

I absolutely love how many elements this song blends together. Electronic chorus, metal-core verse, power ballad bridge, thrash metal, then just a brutal ending. Chef's kiss on this one.
What is your favorite metal song that you just can't share with your non-metal friends?
