Good technical explanation of ActivityPub?

  • Thanks, it is indeed quite simple. I guess the part that confused me was how lemmy communities are modeled. Apparently, they are just actors of type group and submitting a post is simply sending an activity to the group and its followers. So, the email comparison makes sense after all.

    Good technical explanation of ActivityPub?

    Can anyone recommend a good article or video explaining how ActivityPub works on a technical level? I understand the concept, but I'm interested how the protocol actually works (I am studying CS for context).

    Are you able to physically relax your body when you go on rides?

  • I don't really get nervous anymore on rollercoasters. Blue Fire at Europa-Park has heart rate monitor built in the lap bars, kind of funny to see my pulse at a normal resting level and your neighbour's heartrate at 150. Funnily enough, I still get absolutely terrified on any drop tower even if I have ridden it many times.

  • Ich kann auch Fedora empfehlen. Bin vor ein paar Wochen von Windows umgestiegen und habe keinerlei Probleme. Mit Teams/Outlook habe ich keine Erfahrung, habe ich privat nie genutzt und geschäftlich muss ich Windows nutzen. Ich würde dir empfehlen, einige Distros auszuprobieren - du kannst ja direkt von einem USB Stick booten und mal testen, ob alles funktioniert, was du benötigst.

  • Didn't delete my reddit account and probably won't. Just leaving it abandoned and lurk every once in a while.
