PSA: GoDaddy gated their own API. DDNS users warned
  • Warning: Cloudflare does not allow you to change the nameservers of domains you register with them unless you pay for some insanely priced subscription. For many of us who register domains at various registrar's but want to be able to centrally manage DNS, hiding such basic functionality behind an extremely steep paywall makes Cloudflare a no-go.

  • Anyone else travel with a backpack nearly everywhere you go? If so, what's in there?
    • ANC headphones, ANC earbuds, wax earplugs, foam earplugs, silicone earplugs, Loop earplugs <-- yeah this autism thing really should've been clear a lot earlier in life
    • Laptop, 2x 20Ah 100W power bank, 10Ah power bank, GoPro
    • Travel adapter, spare watch charger, 2x 3m USB-C cable
    • Half a pharmacy "just in case"
  • Sell Me on Linux
  • The fact that there's entire communities full of people who will spend energy trying to convince you to give it a try, rather than a corporation with a marketing budget and lobbying power :)

  • Those of use that were diagnosed as *audults*, what things from your past suddenly made sense with the new insight?
  • (Disclaimer: no official diagnosis yet, so I guess this could still have different reasons)

Severe hot flashes and naesea eventually followed by bursts of adrenaline in supermarkets or crowded places (on almost a daily basis).

The fact that I haven't left the house in years without both earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones at hand.

  • Talking while performing another task is quite challenging. Do you feel similarly?
  • Hey if people wanna play with their lives by talking to me while I'm driving... 😂 That's when I look straight at another car coming onto the intersection and drive straight ahead because I saw it, but that didn't mean it also registered.

  • being "confident" doesn't mean you should double check just to be sure, it means you should pretend to be certain about things you are not certain about.
  • I disagree with this. There is such a thing as true confidence, and imo it mostly comes from the knowledge that whatever happens you'll be able to handle the right way. "Fake it til you make it" confidence is called arrogance (and will never turn into actual confidence).
