Woman accused of faking symptoms of debilitating illness dies aged 33
  • Thanks. I luckily have a relatively minor case (chronic pain and joint laxity sucks, but I can hold a full time job).

I'm just glad there is more awareness and more resources than a decade ago. I built the EDS subreddit, but I think I'm going to leave that to others on Lemmy.

  • The Real Crime Isn’t Shoplifting—It’s Wage Theft
  • Because you generally don't get the opportunity to film the participants slug it out when a company gets caught doing wage theft. Doesn't make Internet worthy content that can be injected into the populous to re enforce existing beliefs

  • Does your major in college really matters?
  • I could suggest buffing it up with a Certified Economic Development FInancial Professional credential? I'm working on mine myself. Could be a decent choice. A lot of the value in community Dev this day comes working with Ec Dev

  • What's some really unpopular opinion you have?
  • I get that both parties suck, but from my view we will never get enough critical mass to make those changes under conservative leadership. If you look at which politicians are fighting to open up rights of the people and freedom, our best move on the board lies with the progressives in the Democratic party.

  • I will say on the phone side though I was always a mid-tier phone buyer. Always owned my phone outright. Last upgrade my carrier (T-Mobile) hooked me with a deal. Flagship phone for $100. Rate didn't increase, and it was cheaper than a mid tier.

  • starting again

So I'm someone with chronic pain and fatigue. A few years ago I started a fitness journey and went from 260 down to 180. Today I'm at 219 after falling off the wagon. I want to start again. Eating healthy, getting active. It's hard. I recently hurt my back so I'm trying to get that sorted.

Step 1 is cutting all soda and energy drinks. I'm going to flip that switch starting Monday. With Lemmy as my witness.
