After Supreme Court immunity ruling, Biden draws sharp contrast with Trump on obeying rule of law
  • It calls for the preservation of an in-group by the extermination of an out-group.

    I said this:

Fascists deserve fascism, but they deserve to be the victims of it.

You're twisting my words and making fallacious arguments. This conversation is over. Feel free to write another novela, but I'm done reading.

  • Hard disagree. You're making an invalid slippery slope argument. Eliminating fascists is self-defense. Eliminating other groups is not and therefore not comparable. The problem with fascists isn't that they kill people; it's that they systematically target out groups for elimination without regard to whether they are dangerous—and in fact they tend to target the least dangerous people first.

Also now that I think about it, eliminating fascists was your idea. I think that if they were to be eliminated, they would deserve it, but I wasn't actually advocating it. What they need is to be kept far away from any kind of power or influence.

  • Shit libertarians say.
  • It can be great, but a lot of states have literally no standards for how it's done, and most (all?) of the rest have very weak standards. I'd be fine with it if there were real standards requiring parents to educate their kids and not brainwash them into being Nazis.

  • The President Can Now Assassinate You, Officially
  • Read more carefully:

The president can issue executive orders pursuant to a grant of discretion from Congress, or under the inherent powers that office holds to deal with certain matters which have the force of law.

Executive orders are limited to exercising powers already granted to the President by Congress or the Constitution. The President cannot just make up new laws. This is basic stuff that should have been explained to you numerous times if you're American.

  • How is Reddit's current mobile site so bad?

When you try to edit a Reddit comment in their mobile web app, it deletes all line breaks from your comment so you have to remember to manually put them back before submitting.

The other big issue I have is that when you type in and edited comment, it will omit spaces between words at random. JFC, there's no reason to use anything but a vanilla HTML input element (because only markdown formatting is supported), but they somehow fucked up basic text input anyway!

My last little gripe is that nothing in the interface tells you that markdown is supported, which is extra dumb because the desktop interface tries so hard to hide the fact that markdown even exists.

(And yes, there are a host of other annoyances, but I'm trying to limit my criticisms to things that can only be explained by incompetence.)
