But that's no different than the current internet. Like I said, it's beehaw's problem. If they want to strictly enforce native users on their instance and have their stricter account creation process to join their community, then that's no different than the current internet.
Not really. If the admins of that instance don't want to federated, that's their prerogative. They'll gain or lose users based on that decision. The beauty of the fediverse is that it's all on a voluntary basis. If beehaw decides to federate with a small cluster of other instances, then they'll have their own niche just like the current internet.
That's beehaw's problem. They defederated with lemmy.world recently

We have a labrador. He gets brushed with a Furminator brush every few weeks, and we vacuum EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. Otherwise the shedding is out of control.
We discovered shortly after we adopted him that I am allergic to dogs, something I never noticed growing up with dogs, likely because my family's house was larger than our small apartment. So now the solution is being better about cleaning, as well as a daily dose of zyrtec for the life of our dog.
I would pay again for Pro. Sync has been my reddit app for years.
Fedora Workststion on my laptop since 2017. Not a single complaint.
It's a Haley Strategic Thorntail long mount made by IWC. They don't make the long arm version anymore, so you'll have to got to ebay, tacswap, or GAFS if you're looking for that version now. I found mine on ebay.
The FCC rules will force ISPs to accurately describe fees in labels given to customers, but Comcast said it wants the FCC to rescind a requirement related to "fees that ISPs may, but are not obligated to, pass through to customers." These include state Universal Service fees and other local fees.
Then how about you just itemize those fees as well and write "N/A" or "not charged" on the customer's bill, Comcast? For fuck's sake, it's not that difficult.
This was the Turkey Creek Preserve in Palm Bay, FL.
It's gorgeous. And I know it doesn't really matter much when the case is sealed up, but the black hardware with red cabling really ties it all together.
Definitely a buildings and grounds dept issue then and these things will only be resolved if complaints are lodged with the university.
That's just the university buildings and grounds dept not adjusting the sprinklers properly/using poor sprinkler design. Bikes should ideally go inside, but they're beautifully simple to maintain machines and can tolerate the outdoors if maintained.
No idea, but at this price I'm strongly considering one if the price is the same in a few weeks. I have to pay my stamp for a can that is currently processing first to see what's left in my discretionary budget.
I would even accept outdoor bike parking as long as showers and a changing area was provided.
And heat. Particularly with workplaces with no end of trip facilities. It's 106 F with the heat index and humid where I live currently. My last workplace had lockers and showers, and so I rode even in the rain and heat, but my current job has no bike facilities whatsoever. I only ride in when the weather is good enough that I can ride in without worrying about changing more than my pants and shoes and freshening up.
New AK Lemmy community! - !kalashnikov
Lemmy community for all Kalashnikov pattern rifles, variants, and derivatives. “I wanted to invent an engine that could run for ever. I could have developed a new train, had I stayed in the railway. It would have looked like the AK-47 though.” -Mikhail Kalashnikov ____ Resources: Thinline Weapons Wi...
Just created a new AK community on Lemmy because the original creator of ak47 deleted the community, which blocks the name from being reused. Come join and help make a new home for AK fans.
I didn't try MCC or multiplayer, since I was just performance testing on the computer (will eventually be the wife's machine after we move next month), but even running Academy with the bots was running great. I was able to sign into my Microsoft account no problem though, so I want to try multiplayer next.
Halo Infinite
Just loaded up Halo Infinite on PopOS and it ran flawlessly. I'm blown away, and am now looking at moving up my plans to switch away from Windows for my desktop. The future of Linux gaming is bright!
