it looks more like a goat to me and BOY do they love climbing on stuff
I too will be as happy and carefree as Kirby in the clouds someday
for me it's the millions and billions of teeny tiny critters living in every pillow, plushie and carpet I own, without them even paying rent!!
I can't confirm this for the people I know... why do you think it would have sold better than the original DS? People who bought the DS Lite probably didn't already own the DS, and people who already owned the DS probably didn't have a reason to buy the Lite version (apart from a new and sleeker design, I can't remember any groundbreaking innovations that would justify buying another DS onsole for many people, unlike the DSi with its new camera function).
Yeah, me too! I had to take a second look to see that it's actually a photo

Is there a way to set the language of a new post?
Hey all,
I recently learned that Lemmy allows setting the language of a post before posting it (for example, if the language of a post is set to German, only people who choose to view German posts can see it).
When using Lemmy in a browser, you can simply use a drop-down menu to define the language of the post to be created, but even as I write this very post in Boost, there is no option or toggle for me to choose the language of this post in Boost. Did I miss something or has this not been implemented in Boost yet? Thanks in advance!
In addition, the German language does not really differentiate between turtles and tortoises: both are called "shield toads", but if you want to be more specific, you can say "water shield toads" or "land shield toads", respectively.
I am absolutely interested!

- Funeral Suits (Bsp: All Those Friendly People)
- Sir Sly (Fun)
- sakanaction (新宝島/Shin Takarajima)
- Hippo Campus (Western Kids)

Viel Spaß beim Stöbern!
That was also roughly the time when seemingly every pop song that was played in the radio had to have a drop in the middle of the track
I just tried it and it worked! Thank you so much, that was really helpful!
Do you have any recommendations for me? I'd love to expand my playlist with more songs - I usually get my recommendations from Spotify or YouTube, but personal recommendations are much more valuable :)
Origami Lion (designed by Madiyar Amerkeshev)
Hey all!
Today I finally had time and an occasion to fold something - it's a present for a friend whose absolute favourite animals are lions. I used the following instruction video from Madiyar Amerkeshev's YouTube channel (I couldn't find any diagrams, though):
https://youtu.be/3ZSjkIlZyLw?si=xqFakIqaBprv2H6U
The size of the paper I used (20x20 cm) resulted in a lion which is roughly 14 cm long and 6 cm high. It took me a few tries to get the right proportions especially of the chin and face - what you see here is my third attempt. I also took some liberties in shaping the lions back and repositioning one of the front leg to give the lion a more dynamic pose than shown in the video (the thumbnail shows another way to pose the front leg).
Other videos on this channel look promising as well, so the chances of me folding something else from Madiyar Amerkeshev in the future are quite high :)
Also please ignore the wrinkly fabric of my sofa lol
