It may help to have someone or something to fight for, but ultimately you are fighting for yourself and those around you in your life. You may continue to walk through darkness, feel hopeless, for a long time - with the only thing giving you enough light to see the next step forward being your own internal flame. But you have to fight. It’s the only way through, to keep going even though it’s hard, until you find happiness again.
