What can we do
  • While animal agriculture is responsible for 20% and eating plants directly instead of feeding them to animals first would use 75% less land which means we could grow forests at here that store carbon.

The original commenter here just conveniently ignored that though.

  • What can we do
  • The political advocacy would (in the best case) still end up with a ban on these actions that disproportionately impact the climate so why not just start getting used to tofu already?

  • Concerning news
  • should he just be punished?

How sad that people would want to punish someone who doesn’t even know what they’ve done wrong. I like to believe we have prisons to safely keep people who cannot live around others without significantly hurting them, not to punish them.

  • Property Taxes Have Surged Nearly 60% in Tampa and Jacksonville Since 2019, Exacerbating Florida’s Housing Affordability Crisis
  • Median total monthly housing payment, change: 100%

Median monthly property tax payment, change: 60%

Kinda sounds like tax went down? At least as a proportion of housing costs. So why the f- is this article insinuating that tax is causing the price increase?..

  • This is the bad place
  • Even God thought what we’re currently doing to animals is too f-ed up though. The Bible mentions that sexual acts with an animal is a sin 4 times and the punishment for it is death, for both the perpetrator and the animal. Since impregnating a cow is definitely a sexual act, most animal farmers would be put to death if we followed the Bible.
