The problem with reddit was never the content, communities, or jokes...
Before anyone gets really bummed, his channel's not going away. He's just taking a much deserved break from ten years of weekly uploads (which is an absolutely insane record considering the quality of his content).
Yeah it's pretty slow at the moment. Think it's getting overloaded by the influx of new users, which is a good thing in retrospect. Hopefully the system admins can scale the servers to meet the demand.

I hope Reddit fully dies off- that site is a cesspool and deserves to meet a fate similar to
tumblrDigg & myspace.
