Any under $500 escooters that can go 10 miles on a charge?
  • All these comments and not a single suggestion. 🙄 I have a gotrax and I really like it, had it for a few years and it's still my daily driver. This one is within your range https://gotrax.com/products/gxl-commuter-scooter-hand-brake-edition and this one is on sale at the top of your range, but is a beast. https://gotrax.com/products/g4-electric-scooter-for-adults They sell replacement parts and the ranges can generally be trusted. I'm on the max end of the weight, and I still get the expected range.

  • What do you do with your vehicle when you're at your destination?
  • I think so mostly because the footprint of 2 bikes vs 2 foldable scooters. I'll admit though, I've never owned an ebike, so I can't say for sure which might be better. Ultimately, all my trips are 5 miles or less, so utilizing battery power 100% isn't an issue, but I imagine with a bike, it's easier to go much further.

  • What do you do with your vehicle when you're at your destination?
  • I have a GoTrax scooter and it folds up, so at work I'll typically throw it under my desk. If I'm out and about, I'll lock it up to a bike rack through the rear tire/brake folded up and I haven't had any issues so far thankfully. Probably 600+ miles no issues. (So far)

  • Ultraviolet light can kill almost all the viruses in a room. Why isn’t it everywhere?
  • Jeez, every response in here is about it burning your eyes. Thing is, people aren't in every room all the time. Have it set to a sensor, same as the lights, and you can quickly sanitize large spaces that are unoccupied. Elevators, airplanes, etc can be sanitized the second they're empty. My FIL is a retired GE engineer working on this technology.

  • So... I think I beat the game on my first city?
  • The Hadron Collider, apologies. Thanks for answering my question! I figured mods had something to do with it.

Makes much more sense now 😅 was just so surprised at the completion rates for achievements that seemed relatively doable. Appreciate you!

So... I think I beat the game on my first city?

Aside from watching a YouTube video on getting started a few months ago for my wife, I went in pretty blind.

Is this mostly due to mods or bailouts for most cities?
