Wondering if it’s possible to mod a Pokémon go plus?
So I know next to nothing about programming, coding, development etc. but I was wondering if it’s possible to mod a Pokémon go plus?
Not to be confused with the Pokémon go plus PLUS
Now I don’t know if anyone here plays to understand this, but It’s the basic version that you can click the button to spin stops, catch Pokémon, and track steps with your device locked.
Now after using it for a bit I’ve noticed there are things that it COULD do that it doesn’t. first when you catch a Pokémon/spin a stop successfully it flashes rainbow- so I know the rgb capabilities are there.
On to my main question: is it possible to program/mod/code/tweak/whatever you’d prefer to call it the Pokémon go plus to add extra features from the app? Even if that just corresponds to push notifications?
So far all it can do is- • vibrates • flash blue for a poke stop/new Pokémon, green for a previously seen Pokémon, red for fleeing Pokémon/out of range poke stop and rainbow for successful catch/successful poke stop spin.
What I’m curious to try to add- • flash yellow for egg that’s hatching( and click button to hatch) • flash blue for Pokémon that returned home from gym •cycle rainbow from receiving gifts from friends
Not sure it can be done but I’m curious nonetheless
Is Spooferpro safe when sideloaded?
So I don’t want to jump through all these goddamn hoops to jailbreak, especially restoring my device, just to spoof pogo. I downloaded the .ipa for spooferpro from the website but will my account be alright if it’s sudeloaded and ran? Will I get perma banned pretty quickly? I don’t intend to TP but I do want to use the joystick to walk literally around the block because I’m physically unable to leave the house….if my account is at very high risk of ban, I’ll just stop playing ig…but if there’s a chance I can play this way without losing my account/progress I’d like to try.
Wondering if anyone has any extra spooky plans?
Came back to the game after the starfield hype died off. I noticed there was some spooky themed stuff in the atom store (I bought the haunted clock tower lol) but going into build mode shows some Halloween-ish plans I can “find” like different version of the hanging decorations and the skeleton. Does anyone have any extras of these plans they’d be willing to give away or at the very least sell dirt cheap? I’m on Xbox, out of atoms, and have only about 800caps. Even if anyone knows where to find/get them It’d be much appreciated
Thank you! This did actually help a lot. I think its my brain getting a case of the ick when the physical representation doesn’t match my mental image. Later I’m going to try to work on it a bit and I’ll just keep making sure to say “you’ve at least got something and something is progress.”
Just a vent post: finding it hard to work on my project
To get to the point, I’m currently working on a manga and I’ve just come to a grinding halt and can’t really find the motivation to continue the project…I feel like I work on the story constantly progressing in my head and jot down notes but when it comes to thinking of how to bring my vision into the world, nothing feels adequate or satisfying. I’ve gone over it a bunch of times since the beginning: should I make it a manga? An animation? Should I just submit it to some studio to probably never see the light of day, and if it should; then not see a dime? Should I commission help? I’m too poor for that so, can’t do that. so I’ve just been hand drawing crappy panels in a basic storyboard-esque manner just to get the point across. Now, I’ve been out of touch with drawing for a long long time and idc what anyone says; it does NOT come to you like riding a bike. I’d almost be happier with stick figures at this point.. Usually when all of that starts going through my head I tell myself “look at how one punch man originally started” and it gets me through a page or two, but the past few days I just can’t find any real motivation to pick up my book and pencil….I wish better luck to others working on things right now.

Is this a new fo76 instance?
Wanted to check in on things after being totally consumed by Starfield, and noticed I had to re-search/ join the instance. All the old posts(one of mine included) are now nonexistent. What happened?
My issue with temples (spoiler warning: continue at your own risk)
The spoiler warning is just a formality since I’m sure everyone knows about temples and what they hold within.
My particular issue with temples is that they’re just so simple and repetitive. They feel incomplete or as if they just peppered them in during late stages because they needed a way to explain powers. If you ask me they could have taken two routes.
ROUTE A:
They could have taken the Skyrim route. in Skyrim you’d head to a dungeon or cavern, fight some bandits, drugars, and the occasional dragon priest until you hit the end and- “Oh look. A shrine that holds a word of power!”
They could have had temples with winding paths and waves of starborn trying to stop me and then in the center I’d do the puzzle and get the power.
ROUTE B:
They could have just had the already implemented random encounters with landing starborn but add waves like they did in the ground pounder mission and a heavy boss enemy that, when killed, his essence is the one that contains the power.
Idk to me they could have been great, but they ended up “meh.”
Holy cow is it amazing. I just today beat the main quest and hit lvl 40 and am still loving it. I went in with the LOWEST of expectations and was pleasantly blown away. I get 0 input delay and it’s the smoothest gameplay I’ve ever had with a cloud title. The way my schedule is set up I also don’t get tied up with sever wait times locally because all the kids are in school! The only instances I’ve seen wait times are on weekends or late nights (9/10:30est) but even then it’s maximum 5 min. All in all I have to say for a “Made specifically for X/S” title, I give it a 10 out of 10 from my dinky dinosaur Xbox one and 100% believe it could have made BANK on previous gen.
It truly is a blessing. Once they address some much needed QOL issues, I’d want to see them treat the SF photomode as great as they treat it in fallout76 with facial expression options, more poses, etc. (I do however understand the difference between tossing out content to a MMO with premium store and content for a single player game with modding support; so I’m not THAT optimistic lol)
I’ve not entirely sure what that means but I play on a 1st gen Xbox one through cloud gaming. All of these were taken in vanilla photomode with only the “dusty” filter applied and no other settings edited.

I’ve yet to encounter the blue devil just out and about randomly, but had the safe and sound even pop up for me yesterday so it IS in fact still in rotation. It’s just the matter of either getting a server it hasn’t been popped for a bit or play for a few consecutive hours until you get the safe and sound event. On top of that, if for any reason the other players mollywop him at lightspeed with missiles before you have a chance to snap a pic with the camera (not camera mode) then taking a picture of the carcass is just as valid and surprisingly that includes goop/slime/blood piles depending on the weapon that finishes him off. Hope that helps!
Edit: according to the wiki the blue devil and sometimes an ogua have a chance to spawn near the safe with the alien blaster on Graninger Farm. you’ll see remains of a house, in the water next to it will be a safe containing an alien blaster. This is the area you’ll want to investigate but I can’t confirm this spawn yet myself until the next time I log on.
So I’m brand new here by a few days. I was banned from Reddit entirely after forgetting what account I was on and commenting in a fallout sub I wan banned from. The mod from said fallout sub refused to believe this was an accident, (I thought I was in a completely different fallout sub with a similar icon) said my appeals were considered “argumentative”and pulled the “I’m also an admin” card. Now every account I make gets perma-banned from all of Reddit within 6 hours of being made. Kills me. It’s more a deep void to me not because I just can’t use it considering the mindless monotony of most subs, but because I like to create and my sole platform to share anything I make was ripped from me by some neckbeard that was given a smidgen of power. Still, I never answered your question so; it hasn’t. Yet. I just found lemmy and am hoping it’ll be a great place to fill that void but only time will tell.
