Biden Must Resign
  • So should the guy with 34 felonys, but here we are.

  • What's the best way to perserve bread?
  • I usually get bread from my local store where they make it in house. It tends to go bad quicker than regular store bought bread.

If it's going to get eaten right away (Within a day or two) it's usually in the cupboard where my cats won't pick at it. If I need to keep it around for up to a week or so, then it'll last longer in the fridge. If I stock up on multiple loaves and I want to keep it Longer term storage it goes in the freezer. It usually thaws in about an hour or two when it comes out of the freezer.

  • Tucson 'former incel' gets 16 mos. for threatening UA mass shooting
  • On his Instagram page, he "identifies as a former incel,"

What a weird way to try to brag that he got laid.

  • Those without A/C, what are your tips to stay cool during the summer?
  • No. A cold is a virus, you won't catch one by cooling yourself.

  • This e-trike with full suspension strikes the right balance between riding in city and beyond
  • That thing is dangling so low they could have stuck some rubber on it and called it a quad bike.

I'm also not understanding "the trike’s 750W rear-mount motor ensures up to 1,400W of power"

  • what is the worst case scenario that can happen at the presidential debate?
  • What will probably happen is Trump will say a hundred stupid things no-one bats an eye to. Biden will screw up one soundbite and conservative media will twist and beat that dead horse until it get reincarnated.

  • How some of us found out...
  • a lot of adhd things are "normal" problems that people deal with, except that they are often dialed up to the point of affecting a person's daily life negatively.

  • What did you routinely fall asleep listening to as a kid and what does it for you now?
  • When I was a kid I had a record player and usually played a particular record that had various artists on it Like Johnny Horton (Battle of New Orleans) and Elvis Presley (Blue Suede Shoes).

Now 40+ years later, it's usually stuff like Frog Leap Studios (Leo Morrachelli https://www.youtube.com/user/leolego/videos) mainly so I don't have to hear my cats screaming around the house in their nightly turbo mode.

I still like Johnny Horton, but anything from Elvis makes my eye twitch.

  • Caption this picture rule
  • "I feel feathery Oh so feathery, All my Plumage is standing up taallll"

  • Trump’s Second Term: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)
  • Ya I've been setting mine to Brazil for that exact reason. The episodes show up on my freetube when I'm normally in the us/canada but I can't watch them otherwise without that "unavailable in your region" crap.

    Geo-locking content sucks.

  • I think I need more cats
  • Technically I have 15 cats right meow, and it's too damned many. Had 5, but last summer two stray momma cats gave birth to 4 kittens each, so I spent the summer making friends with them so I could take them in and get them fixed.

Most are done now, there's 3 left to get fixed that have to wait until maybe August before I can afford to get them done. (It's $200 a pop here and I don't have a lot of spare cash so they've been getting done in batches.)

But at least they're all happy and healthy and safe aside from the one momma who needed some meds for a bit (She's better now too).

  • So Many
  • This should do the trick for those without a bongbuddy.

  • What do I give my bad dad for father's day?
  • "World's Best Dad" mug with the word "Best" crossed out?

  • YouTube is experimenting with server-side ads
  • Ya I'm actually surprised they hadn't done that sooner.

  • Do I really need a VPN for pirating?
  • The free plan on Proton doesn't let you torrent.

  • Fast food prices are fucking insane {late stage ruleism}
  • And all them dang computer cars that run on elecktrickery.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan announced the Teacher in Space Project, and McAuliffe learned about NASA's efforts to find their first civilian, an educator, to fly into space.[20] NASA wanted to find an "ordinary person," a gifted teacher who could communicate with students while in orbit.[6][15] McAuliffe became one of more than 11,000 applicants.[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christa_McAuliffe

Not the regular type of post in this sub, but I thought some of you might enjoy it anyway.

This sub reminds me of an ad I saw in a magazine sometime in the late 80's/ early 90's

    >"How to get thousands of people to send you money with little to no effort. Send $5 and a self addressed stamped envelope to..."

I've always wondered how many people fell for that.

My 48yr old unopened bottle of beer. (Circa 1975)

I saw the String cheese post so I thought I'd share my own "slightly beyond best before date" consumable. I used to have two of them that I had found in my attic under some insulation, but the other one froze in my garage and broke open. (No, it did NOT smell pleasant. I'm pretty sure whatever vile liquid is in that thing does not resemble beer in any way, shape, or form.)

It's perched on a flashlight to try and show the sediment that's built up on the bottom of the bottle.

Newest family member, found by herself on the side of a gravel road yesterday.

My daughter found her alone on the side of a gravel road yesterday morning and brought her to my house. We think she's about 6 weeks old. I had to edit the post title three times because she keeps stepping on the keyboard to attack and viciously lick my fingers.
