  • And what has that to do with a monopoly? They forced other developers to sell their game on steam? No, over time it developed into a platform that was just more convenient in so many ways than physical copies, for gamers and developers. Steam wouldn't have taken off if it was as shitty as the launchers from ea/ubi and so on. And so what if they were the first ? Wow released in the same year and had its own proprietary launcher, so they could charge users monthly. While Steam is free and their servers are free to use. It'not like we wouldn't live in a world without proprietary launchers it it weren't for steam, we would just have shitty ones, almost exclusively. Just compare the the movie/tv-show platforms, all the same shit in different shades of brown.

  • How tf is this a monopoly? There are other mobas you can buy, even on their own store. And if you meant steam, that's also not a monopoly, there are lots of other stores. Most just suck and are not even beginning to understand why steam has its standing.

    What's your current sim racing game?

  • I play there since April and started with the gt4 class. There were almost always enough players to not trigger the ai. On evenings\weekends around 7-12 racers average with peaks up to 20. Since last week the new season started and now multiclass races are supported which should result in even more players per race

    With the racecraft.online community there are really nice and clean races with a casual friendly ranking system.

    Lots of classes and tracks, nice damage simulation.

    There are a lot of tracks and cars only available through dlc but the technical updates are free.

  • Because the movie takes place on a movie set and Bruce Lee was the most prominent and best fighting actor/choreographer. You are making it all about race. You could also say why does a random stuntman beat up the most talented fighter. But the answer would be boring: because it's a movie, not based on reality and the movie wants to picture that guy as a badass.

  • So Bruce Lee can beat up hundreds of white guys, because asians are good at martial arts, i guess? But there can't be one white guy in the world who beats up bruce? Racism is complicated indeed.
