He also jokes that he puts packing tape over guitar knobs to “keep these idiots from imma crank it up to 11”.
Anyways, I asked him about playing to backing tracks and sent him a shitty clip. He said it sounded fine, but told me to remember how all these videos/clips have gone through massive amounts of sound manipulation. He told me “you don’t sound bad, you sound live”. Made me feel a little better, and you likely sound the same so don’t worry about it.
