Anyone else is a popular choice. Everyone loves anyone else. That is, until you name anyone else.
This is just new evidence to support what has already been known. I would be surprised if this made the news considering it never made the news before.
Yes, Trump is a rapist and a pedophile and not just an acquaintance of Epstein.
That is exactly what I've thought about during his time there. So many disasters brought on by light regulation. The response has been far better than you would normally get. Unfortunately I think bureaucracy gets in the way a lot.
The response from the public should be MORE Democratic support and stronger regulations. But unfortunately usually the response is "not enough is done" and give less support with zero regard to how that will impact policy.
And I'm not advocating for him. I'm literally just trying to think of who could possibly win over enough moderates to beat Trump in swing states.
I'd take these people over Trump in a heartbeat. No question. But if we're not going to get behind one of them right now, then we all need to start supporting Biden. And it sounds like that's what we're going to need to do.
Unless everybody gets behind Pete Buttigieg right fucking now, then there isn't another choice but to go with Biden.
And I don't say that as someone who loves Pete, but he's the only person with name recognition, resume, and any kind of uniform positive feelings between progressives, moderates, and centrists to win.
Either that or pick Joe Manchin, say fuck off to climate change initiatives for the next 8 years, and go hard after centrists in swing states.
I can't think of anyone else that would stand a chance from a strategy perspective.
The fact that anyone (let alone half the country) would pick a literal traitor who failed in every way possible as president over a guy that had a bad interview while sick, with a B+ resume is ridiculous. Just a week ago the right was accusing him of doing drugs because of how well his State of the Union went. We avoided a recession and we're recouping from the pandemic better than any other country.
Hell, just look at the debate itself. Biden memorized 90 minutes (or 45 minutes) worth of facts and used them to back up every claim he had while Trump literally lied the entire time and took credit for everything Biden (or Obama) did.
Between all that and literally being the only thing that kept the Republicans from throwing the US into default with clever negotiations (seriously, the dude fucking manipulated McCarthy so bad he lost his job), the only thing crazy is that people pay so little attention to politics over the last 8 years that all they know is that he sounded weak during a debate.
I mean, they did that with She-Hulk, which I thought was fantastic and stayed pretty true to the comics too. All considered it had the pieces to drive viewership and it ended up being a money pit.
In Thor 4 they basically let Waititi have fun with it and that was a disaster.
First season was fantastic. Second season was okay.
None of it was bad though.
I've seen USSC used like one other time and it was weird. It makes me think of USMC.
Both candidates lose to a generic 3rd candidate. That was true even before the debate. The problem is finding a generic 3rd candidate that people agree on.
Truth is, the only person I can think of with enough name recognition that might bring enough support from progressives, moderates, and centrists this late is maybe Pete Buttigieg. But I wouldn't bet on it. Biden needs to use every moment from here until November to get in front of people to show that the debate was an outlier.
I was thinking the same but with people who struggle holding a cap in their hand while drinking.
What I hate about the merged plans (Gold vs GamePass) is that they don't always specify which level. Core or Console/Ultimate?
He's always had it. But it was probably easier to manage it when he was younger.
Also, allegedly had a cold and probably got flustered after the first time he tripped on his words. And inexplicably kept trying to recite various metrics from memory.
I'm going through and unsubscribing now from the few I was subbed to. One had a better community elsewhere since the last the last time I checked.
The only one I'm missing a replacement for is findacommunity, which I asked for on the community.
is there a good "findacommunity" that isn't on .ml?
I got banned from an .ml community for basically nothing and I remembered .ml is the tankies instance. So I'm looking for an alternative so I can be off of the instance entirely.
Is it fair to mention Undertale? It's kind of an anti-RPG.
I guess so. I don't mind like-minded spaces. But leaving no room for discussion just seems pointless.
Oh. I forgot about them being tankies.
Weird, my conscience is to vote against the corrupt, fascist, rapist with a grudge against America. After dealing with Trump's presidency and the aftermath, I can't even imagine not voting for Biden. And I'm in a red state, so my vote definitely doesn't matter.
I guess they don't argue with people directly and the posts don't seem too bad. It's always mixed in with my other posts.
I didn't realize it was that extreme. I mean, my comment was literally just saying that a less progressive policy was still "reasonable" even if I didn't align with it.
I forgot about .ml being the tankies instance too.
I got banned from a (presumably) rational community. Just curious if anyone has had experience with this and what next steps are.
FWIW, the community was [email protected].
I assume I was banned because I said I understood Biden opposing surgery on minors, specifically trans surgery. Although I disagreed with it.

Reggie Bush gets Heisman Trophy back 14 years after forfeiting
The Heisman Trust is returning the Heisman Trophy to Reggie Bush and a replica to USC after the former running back had forfeited the award in 2010.
Reggie Bush has his 2005 Heisman Trophy back, as the Heisman Trust announced Wednesday the formal "reinstatement" of the trophy to Bush amid what it calls "enormous changes in the college football landscape."
The Heisman Trust's decision comes after Bush forfeited his Heisman Trophy in 2010 in the wake of significant NCAA sanctions for USC, which included Bush receiving improper benefits during a Trojans career that spanned from 2003 to 2005.

Are y'all watching UFL?
I'm just curious if anyone is watching. It's been entertaining.
I keep wondering if there's a potential spring camp/minor league future for the UFL. They could start popping up in college stadiums during the off season. Imagine if a college team, let's say the Arkansas Razorbacks, had a UFL team that focused on giving former Razorbacks a place to play if they don't go to the NFL. It could even be a way to entice middling players to go to that school. Now do that with any college that wants to participate.
Bills trade star WR Stefon Diggs to Texans for 2025 draft pick
The Bills traded four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Texans for draft pick compensation.
The Bills received a 2025 second-round pick in exchange for Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick, and a 2025 fifth-round pick. The Texans acquired that pick from the Vikings when they traded their 2024 first-round pick to Minnesota last month.

What Marvel stuff are you watching right now that you're enjoying?

The Broncos announced Monday that they have informed quarterback Russell Wilson he will be released after the 2024 league year begins March 13 at 4 p.m. ET.
Wilson's release will end a disappointing chapter for both sides. The Broncos went 11-19 in Wilson's starts over two seasons and failed to make the playoffs.
The Broncos signed Wilson to a five-year, $242.6 million deal after his arrival and will take an $85 million hit in dead money over the next two seasons because of the release.
