What happens behind closed doors between a man, a dolphin, a couch, several firearms, and a copy of Mein Kampf is personal and private.
Gay people? Oh no, that’s not a thing. Maybe if men had the smooth, supple feel of Corinthian leather, I would understand.
Mattis checked with his Russian counterpart before, during, and after to make absolutely certain there were no Russian forces in the area. By the end of the bombings, that statement became true.
Trump in October: We already had a (n-word) President. Can you imagine a (n-word) FEMALE President?
Vance claps while standing dutifully beside Trump in full Klan robes.
Unfathomably based. I want a framed print to hang on a wall.
Wilson pledged to keep America out of WWI. He reneged on that promise, but did so after the war was already winding down. Instead of a fair, negotiated peace between mostly equal forces, the Allies negotiated from the position of having a fresh fighting force entering the war to finish Germany off.
The imbalance of power allowed the Allies to impose the extremely punitive Treaty of Versailles on the Central Powers, which ultimately led to WWII.
Wilson also made income tax a constant thing and created the Federal Reserve. He is a legit target for a time traveling assassin.
That’s why pharmaceutical companies spend untold millions to try to block every legalization measure. They need you taking their highly-addictive chemicals, not smoking a plant that grows naturally.
We’re way, way past that. Oil executives should be flayed and impaled in the public square. Then banking executives. Then insurance. Then pharmaceutical. Then…
Fantastic article. Gets right to the heart of the problem. Angry people disappointed with how their lives turned out feel like they have to cling to something. Something that gives them the value that they don’t see in themselves as individuals.
Race is an easy crutch. There are centuries of bullshit pseudoscience about skull shapes and whatnot for them to discover. And most of all, it gives them enemies. They can take all that hate and frustration they feel in their own lives and direct it outwardly.
It’s ultimately sad and pathetic. Maybe if people like this had economic opportunities, better education, etc. they wouldn’t have the underlying self-loathing that leads them down this path.
Guys, have you noticed that Harris laughs. Like when she finds something funny she laughs at it. Fucked up, right?
When she was a prosecutor, she put people in jail that pled guilty or were convicted by a jury. What a monster.
Maybe she’s secretly been assuming the duties of the President when Biden wasn’t feeling well. We should look into that. That would make her… bad somehow.
Is she actually Hillary Clinton in a mask, maybe? Can we test that on 4chan?
Good thing we always have old faithful- racism and sexism. That’ll swing those undecideds.
I believe it would mean a special election in Arizona during the 2026 midterms. That’s a concern.
2026 will be a midterm, which traditionally does not favor the party in the White House. The senate has been on a razor thin margin. A special election in Arizona with an unproven candidate is a legit concern.
Good point, but LLMs are both ubiquitous and the public face of “AI.” I think it’s fair to assign them a decent share of the blame for overpromising and underdelivering.
My question is who is going to run for Mark Kelly’s senate seat in Arizona. He’s popular enough that the seat is safe now.
Is there another candidate that we can be sure will step in and keep the seat blue? If not, it’s probably best that Kelly stays where he is.
Yeah, OpenAI, ChatGPT, and Sam Altman have no relevance to AI LLMs. No idea what I was thinking.
You mean the multi-billion dollar, souped-up autocorrect might not actually be able to replace the human workforce? I am shocked, shocked I say!
Do you think Sam Altman might have… gasp lied to his investors about its capabilities?
Beautiful sword, but looking at it gives me the strangest urge to carve runes into my skin.
I like Kelly as a VP pick, but I don’t like turning a safe senate seat into a tossup. Beshear is term limited, so his lieutenant governor can finish the term and run as an incumbent.
I think they’re probably going with Shapiro, though. The old guard will see Pennsylvania turning blue and put their blinders on to everything else.
Andy Beshear is the exact opposite of JD Vance. He’s an authentic, decent person who can speak to rural communities and purple states with sincerity, the one thing that is truly lacking in American politics.
I know Shapiro is the conventional wisdom pick, but Beshear is the right pick.
Techbros have turned into the fucking devil. They’ve made up this bizarre religion that involves server stacks on various planets running simulations and them living in bunkers on a destroyed earth.
Beliefs that would legitimately be seen as mental illness if held by non-billionaires. And these people decide what information you get to see.
The only chance for healthcare reform is to preserve democracy. If Trump wins and legalizes ballot stuffing, state legislatures overturning voters, etc. we won’t have a real election again for a very long time.
Where Reddit differs among its tech peers is in its striking dependence on its user base to keep things operational. Reddit must keep its users satisfied and its efforts to expand its limited (and already unpopular) advertising formats could send users packing. 98% of Reddit’s revenue is made up of ...

Epstein, a convicted sex trafficker who took his own life in 2019, has been linked to some of the world's most powerful men. Names included in the court documents aren't evidence of wrongdoing.

After a lifetime against, I'm considering joining social media. Any advice?
I've never had a Facebook account or any other social media. I know they keep shadow profiles, but I've never given permission. I never had any interest and frankly still don't.
The problem I'm having is that I don't exist online when people try to look me up. When someone tries to check me out, there's nothing there and apparently that's considered abnormal these days. I think it's starting to affect my life negatively for various reasons I'd rather not get into.
I'd just like some advice about where to start if you wanted to dip your toes in and check it out. LinkedIn, maybe?
Truce in Israel-Hamas extended with minutes to spare
Israel and Hamas agreed to extend a temporary truce by another day minutes before it was set to expire, said Qatar, which has been mediating between the two sides.

The truce continues. Saved at the last minutes by diplomacy.
Hospitals have been caught in the crossfire during the Israel-Hamas war — both literally and in the clashing narratives of the conflict.

JERUSALEM (AP) — The head of surgery at Gaza’s largest and most advanced hospital held up his phone Saturday to the hammering of gunfire and artillery shelling. “Listen,” said Dr. Marwan Abu Sada as fighting raged around Shifa Hospital.
