Thanks for the kind words. Indeed I was quite pleased with how this one turned out. Right after a substantial rainfall too
Happy to help, but can you elaborate on a photosphere? Is that just a 360° panoramic photo?
After receiving minimal snow the past two years, this week's storm has proven rather cathartic
Everything shuts down over a few inches around here. Meanwhile I just say DA BEARS and grab the boots and camera.
And how! I was lucky enough to call it home for two years.

Lesotho is truly a magical part of the world with a rich history and vibrant culture.
Once you get into the woods the fog is substantially less. Not sure why. Here's a picture from that morning's hike taken on the Whiteoak Canyon Falls Upper Trail: https://lemmy.world/post/3812709
Thanks! He was totally watching my every move as I opened the window and started snapping. That's why I love this pic. He's staring straight into the lens! I was ~20 ft. away with my telephoto 😃

Oh wow! Thanks for the kudos.. I'm humbled! Glad this seasonal composite resonated with folks :)
I’ll kick it off: Lesotho group 80 (Community Health and Economic Development) from 2013-2015
- Some of the grassroots projects I started in my village are still functioning today. By that metric it was certainly successful.
- I didn’t even know what Lesotho was when I got my invite. Needless to say, it’s an absolutely beautiful part of the world and I consider it a 2nd home now.
- Almost daily. I have two very close friends and we keep in touch on Whatsapp. I also returned in 2019 for a vacation/reunion and plan to do so every 5 years.
