A fresh install of Signal takes up 410MB, blowing both Firefox and Chromium out of the water
  • Waydroid! No idea if Signal works with it though, worth to try it

  • 1.21 releasing
  • It's releasing the 18 of june iirc

  • Why do we say, "when I look in the mirror" instead of "when I look in a mirror?"
  • Imo, it's because "the mirror" means "the reflexion in the mirror" you rarely actually look a mirror itself

  • I updated wanderer (v0.6.1) - a self-hosted trail and GPS track database
  • Looks like what I wanted! However, it doesn't seem to let me export to a supported format for Wanderer (only kmz?), could you confirm @[email protected] ?

    ClamAV Frontend in Godot
  • Indeed, it was hidden between the images and missed it, sorry!

  • ClamAV Frontend in Godot
  • This looks really cool. The Windows Defender is not the most intuitive app to copy, but I really like that it exist. Maybe then you can recreate multiple "Skins" to copy other software such as Bitdefender, Avast or anything else!

Gitlab CI/CD : How to update flatpak (flathub) when a new release is created

    Hello everyone !

I have a quite complicated question/setup. I have my software on a Gitlab repo, and I'm publishing the software on flathub. everytime I do a release on Gitlab, I need to also update the flathub repo with the commit and the release tag, and I'm thinking this could be automated with Gitlab CI/CD.

    Exemple repo :

    • Gitlab : https://gitlab.com/Krafting/playlifin-gtk
    • Flathub Github : https://github.com/flathub/net.krafting.Playlifin/

When modifying the Flathub repo, I need to create a PR with my modifications and wait for the build process to complete. Then, I can merge the request.

Do you have any idea how can I automate the flathub part everytime I create a new release on Gitlab ?

My explaination might be a bit blurry, if that's the case, please feel free to ask for clarification.

Thank you for your time and answers!

  • Man, 71, arrested after LAPD finds nearly 3,000 boxes of stolen LEGO sets at his home
  • I'm glad he got arrested. That's a true crime to not build all of these.

  • I'm glad we have trickplay now, but why isn't it on-demand?
  • Well all the same, except for the number of thread. in the end (at around80%) I bumbed the threads to 15, and CPU was still the same in the consumption, however, there were 15 ffmpeg process. so maybe a but in the jellyfin-ffmpeg package ? or maybe I'm missing something here

  • I'm glad we have trickplay now, but why isn't it on-demand?
  • Well, you can enable it per-library, also Storage is not that much, I scalled down to 160p tho for my needs it's more than enough

But for my library, it took a few weeks, but I limited the number of ffmpeg thread to 3-4.

  • The problem with GIMP
  • GIMP is part of the brand, remove the brand and you get Twitter, oh I mean Y or X or whatever. GIMP is a cool name imo.

  • And you need to select it in the profile settings (about:profiles iirc)
