Here to learn to develop in Flutter! (and also shitpost)
In some desktop browsers you can install it to the start menu as well.
The amount of upvotes (or lack thereof) on the AMA post is the cherry on top of all of this
Encouraging others to not waste their time arguing qith stupid people is what an adult is expected to do.
The worst part is why apps doesn't support webp like how they support jpg or png. That's also a widespread image format, there's no reason for them to not support it.
The story behind the building Twitter is getting evicted from
I want to expand more on the comedy of errors that led to the eviction of #Twitter from their Boulder, Colorado office. The story that leads up to this building even existing is bizarre and hilarious, so here goes... A thread 🧵 https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/06/judge-ruled-twitter-must...
Here in the Philippines, it's generally around only on government buildings and schools. Some establishments and residences may opt to fly the flag as well, but most of us just don't bother at all.
Generally the flag doesn't have any negative (or positive) connotations. Both the leftists and rightists see the flag equally.
Proactively banning problematic users before they cause issues is necessary. Prevention is better than cure.
Which is important if you don't want the Fediverse to become the next Voat.
The /s tag is important to easily recognize sarcasm, especially for neurodivergent people.
As Reddit surpasses 5,329 subreddits that has gone dark, we're yet to reach our peak of active users.

Just a heads-up, your account is marked as a bot account, you probably misconfigured it.
This is probably the first-ever post to surpass 1,000 upvotes.
That would be a bad idea. While only a small percentage of users actively create engaging content, the problem is that those active users will lose the incentive to participate if there's nobody else to engage with, and this will cause them to eventually flock back to the non-Fediverse social media sites.
We should instead streamline Lemmy's sign-up like how Mastodon did it. The easier it is to sign up and the more users there are (even if many are lurkers), the better.
Goodbye, Reddit addiction!
Hello, Lemmy addiction.
Here before the low-effort Reddit content floods the Fediverse. 🍻
There was even a comment from spez that contained an "A: " at the beginning, proving that those answers are just copy-pasted. lmao

I'm just... tired of these "pre-order" stuff. Like you'll be sure that you'll get a product that's worth it when the thing comes out.
Not mine, but I use Image Toolbox to do some picture tinkering works (e.g. cropping and compression). Would recommend this to everyone.

What could Lemmy.ml do to avoid becoming the next Reddit after a decade?
We all know about how Reddit closed-sourced back in 2017 and will be killing off third-party apps this July, what will Lemmy.ml do to avoid facing the same fate? Reddit started off like this (open, aiming for freedom) and it all went downhill from there.
Immigrants from Reddit?
Are any fellow immigrants from Reddit here? Hope r/Philippines joins the blackout this June 12!
