Yes, but rarely can I figure out how to use it. Whether it's a text, email, or web site I want to look at, the keys don't work the way they are supposed to or the keys themselves do not make sense.
How is this not the top fucking comment??
Lol! It was really late; that makes more sense.
Went back to look for scandals, but didn't see anything other than he has OCD and does advocacy work in that area. Sounds like a good dude... Been with the same wife since 1974.
I looked him up for you, and I am very happy to report he's still alive!
Right?? They are very, very thirsty...
Glad you enjoy, as I very much enjoy all your posts.
Jessica Fletcher would figure it out when she dressed up as a drunk to tail her niece. She'd sing a bit of shanty, kiss you on the forehead, and encourage you to be yourself. You were once her student, and she always knew from your writing that you were a kind soul and a wicked plot weaver.
Thanks, shelving guy! That makes sense.
One of my favorite parts of this epic. Enkidu, a wild man created by the gods to act as a "counterforce" to the cruel king Gilgamesh, has been humanized by "a sacred temple girl."
Yes, in the way you suspect.
She leads him to Uruk to meet Gilgamesh, where the people quickly realize he is capable of challenging Gilgamesh, who has just been a total asshole to everyone. Enkidu stops Gilgamesh "from coming with the nighttime girls," and they start fighting "for hours and hours."
Finally, it is Enkidu, the one who is supposed to be a savage, that calls a truce and they become the best of friends.
Replica of an altar stone at the site. Note the designs that continue throughout the complex and other temples in Malta.
The supposed "Holy of Holies" at Hagar Qim, where it is believed priests would carry out animal sacrifices.
Overview of the complex, in English and Maltese.
The Spring and the Plum
I've spent most of my free time in the last day attempting to track down more information about the stained glass I shared yesterday. There isn't very much out there other than sites trying to sell reproductions in all sorts of forms, but it seems that the work is a collaboration between Mucha and the Mauméjean brothers, who were a family of stained glass makers in Spain. The stained glass seems to be referred to as "The Spring and the Plum," while Mucha's work it is based upon is called "Primrose and Feather."
So glad so many enjoyed my previous post, and I hope you enjoy this one too!
He is clearly engaged in the great ritual dance known as....
The Macarena!!
Egypt was crazy... Same trip as Malta. I'll try to post more; I forgot how good some of my pictures are. Just incredible history.
Anyone know when the Sabotage series is going to start airing?

Visiting Perth, Mid June to Mid July
Hello lovely Aussies! I am visiting your beautiful land for a month this summer. I apologize and please delete if this post is against the rules, but maybe you can point me in the right direction. I will be staying with family who have been there since last summer, but I'd love to hear tips about how best to enjoy your city and it's surroundings while I'm there!
