I've been a player for a few years and a dm for a few months now.

Hearing this as a player would completely kill my immersion and turn the campaign into an arcade game in my head. If you are allowed to say this, then I am allowed to hot reload when doing something stupid because having my pc die would throw out all of the work I've put into them and their back story.

No file format will save you by itself since at the end of the day, xml, json, etc they are all plain text.

One solution would be to use some database (like sqlite if you are just doing things locally on your computer).

Another solution would be to have a single process that is responsible for writing the data, while all other processes send messages to it via a queue.

Ενδιαφέρον φαίνεται θα πω εγώ, φυσικά θέλει χρόνο να μεγαλώσει, τόσο το οικοσύστημα, όσο και οι εφαρμογές αφού έχουν αρκετά rough edges, αλλα νομίζω αν το reddit συνεχίσει έτσι και το lemmy πάρει τους περισσότερους χρήστες, μπορεί να εξελιχθεί σε κάτι αρκετά ωραίο.

Φυσικά και η open source & federated φύση του έχει αρκετό ενδιαφέρον και τουλάχιστον για εμένα είναι ένα μεγάλο advantage, είναι εξαιρετικά δύσκολο να επαναληφθεί η ιστορία με το reddit εδώ, ενώ παράλληλα αποδεικνύει την αξία του open source.

I have had a rough week, so I bought poly bridge 3. In 2 days I have over 6 hours, which for me is a lot!
There is something about this chill guitar music in the background that just keeps me going, trying to build the most efficient bridge.

Just joined myself, I have a feeling there will be an even bigger influx of users soon.
