You keep using that word. Maybe you should look up what it means.
i'm sure the people who created this intro think of themselves as artists and were hired as artists, and rightly so.
Anyone know how to do this the other way around? Subscribing to lemmy communities from kbin?
edit: it seems to work the same way. you just have to search for the community in kbin first or otherwise it will show a 404.
First time I've looked at kbin and what immediately struck me is that the page is properly viewable with javascript turned off.
A welcome surprise and I'll create an account there.
Read the update at the bottom. Reddit doesn't seem to want to comply with the requests. I guess you could use a deletion script.

Looks like it's not that easy
It took 3 seasons to make it watchable. If they do 1 movie chances are they are going to fuck it up.

I'm not talking about the title but the actual page a post links to. Your idea to mark edited URLs is great, though.
Or always crosscheck the hyperlink in title or body with an open-source malicious site database and flag all malicious sites once and for all?
The internet is in flux. Once and for all is not possible.

These are about matching large profiles, not just months of data.
But I'm pretty certain that you can train a computer to recognize a persons writing style from just months of data.

the ability to edit titles is great. But the ability to edit the URL of a post is dangerous. - Lemmy.ml
1. I create a well crafted post to a normal site that gets 10.000 upvotes. 2. I change the URL to a malicious site. 3. ??? 4. Profit
I don't know how to crosspost properly.
I think this is a serious design flaw. If you agree please upvote the post on lemmy.ml community for visibility
Archive.ph is very unstable. Pls, if you change links post the original link in your change comment.

Is there a fix?
I don't know shit about Lemmy but I think you can't create a community unless logged into that instance.
I hope it can get fixed in the DB or somewhere because I feel like asklemmy will be one of the bigger communities.
I also get a "subscribe pending" on /c/[email protected] but all other communities seem to subscribe quickly.
What's up with some communities here having @lemmy.world but not just
https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]

Why is there an [email protected] but just asklemmy is 404 community not found?

Is connection to lemmy.ml not working?
If I search for a community like [email protected] nothing comes up. Trying to subscribe to a community on lemmy.ml results in "Subscribe Pending"
Feature Request: Floating top bar with links to subscribed communities
Even better if it was customizable.
Also generally I'd love if most features come with an option to turn them off. For example the pop-up of new replies. I can see that getting annoying really fast on very active accounts.
I get a "404: couldnt_find_community" for a /c/ I created on lemmy.ml if I try to access it from lemmy.world
https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected] (It's a music style community): 404: couldnt_find_community
Other communities work fine: https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]
Do I have to enable my community to be federated or is it maybe getting blocked due to the name?
