This long-running sitcom has only gotten better thanks to its writers taking big leaps. 'Bob’s Burgers' balances the bittersweet with bodily humor even better 14 seasons in.
  • I don't dislike the aww moments by any means, and you're right that they have a way of doing them that's quite good. I just miss something that doesn't seem to be there anymore and I can't describe what it is.

I believe the chart is total over time? TBH I stole the image from R*ddit. I understand it to be a straight forward, if slightly out of date, mapping of ratings from IMDb. Nostalgia night play a factor but I have my doubts.

  • It's definitely changed a lot in 14 seasons but to say it's better is pretty subjective. I personally feel it's lost a lot of it's edge in favor of safe, formulaic, "awwww" moments that tug on the heartstrings.

Also just look at the ratings. I'm clearly not alone in thinking the show lacks something it once had.

  • Starfield's new Xbox performance modes are thoughtful and comprehensive
  • I enjoyed what little of it there was too, but there just wasn't anything substantial to it. What was there was mechanics FO4 did better 8 years earlier supporting a non existent story and a largely empty world. I was willing to overlook that snapping/building ships/outposts was FO4's settlement building but somehow worse. I was prepared to accept that individual clothing pieces were no longer a thing in favor of monolithic outfits even though it felt like a step backwards. I was even willing to accept that I couldn't walk from one side of a settlement to the other without 3 load screens but by the time it got to the "ending" and my own gorram character just chuckles at me for thinking anything whatsoever would be explained it was obvious that I'd been taken for a ride. I liked what was there, or maybe I just really wanted to, but I was much more disappointed by what wasn't there.

  • he's a libertarian utilitarian dictator not an authoritarian dictator

You said that he's not an authoritarian dictator. That assertion is laughable, and so patently untrue as to approach ironic satire. What else is there to comprehend? I really don't get where you're coming from here.

  • He wakes up and chooses violence

I'm pretty sure he loves me, but he needs to find a way to express it without his teeth.

Is that Adam Scott in the background of Boimlers movie?

Screenshot from Crisis Point 2. Am I just being obtuse or is the joke that because it's a movie they're gonna give Adam Scott a super minor cameo like he had in First Contact? If so, that's an impressive detail thst took me a dozen watch throughs to notice.
