It spent many years around spot 7. It has since fallen off.
Oh? Warframe is finally off the top 10?
Admittedly, it's probably been off it for awhile. I just haven't really been paying attention to top 10s in a long while.
Oh. Joy. I am certain the Mario odyssey modders who have been showcasing hide and seek along with prop hunt as ways to play the game with friends after enjoying the official experience will appreciate their hard work being flagged and demonitized.
Can't wait for Nintendo to go after the romhackers after this, and eventually cleanse all of the internet of their IP, causing people to just not know or care about their IPs anymore. Please Nintendo, figuratively shoot yourself in the face more.
Back when native resolution was 4:3 it made more sense to have them side by side, but 16:9 it just makes more sense to have them vertically stacked.
Also, my setup is a 50" 4k TV for the top screen and a 43" 1080p for the bottom, I'd have to look sooo faaar over to see the other screen that I honestly don't have the wall space in my room for it. I am generally reclined on a couch while using it, my head resting is centered on the upper screen with either a reference of whatever I'm working on the lower, though usually it will be a twitch stream I'm tangentially interested in but only need to take a look at it on occasion if I head something interesting happening.
I originally read this comment and thought "that's so recent, I'm sure I first used GPS way before that!" then I did the math. I was right around that time too with my semi smart phone and the gps being very vicinity oriented and not precise at all.
I recall it thinking I was a block over from where i was one time and it repeatedly told me to u-turn for some reason. Not great times. Especially in the dead of winter directly after a good snow that brought down some trees and closed some roads, there was not an easy detour in that area and the gps wasn't easy to redirect.
For the first time ever, I'm apparently lawful evil.
Shame I can't legally import it. Also I'm wary of the website, their stock is a bit tooooo good.
Well shit. There's one more I need to add to my demonstrate deck. Thanks.
This was one of those movies I vaguely remember seeing as a small child and thought for the longest time that it was some kind of bizarre fever dream as I got older and forgot details, but recalled how oddly surreal the whole experience was.
I can only hope this 'case' is quashed so hard into the stone age it comes from that it weakens copyrights worldwide.
It definitely set out and met what it was attempting to do. I can't fault it for that. Watching it one episode spaced a week apart it is a glorious reboot. They definitely did more work on the world building aspects. It feels much more like a place that is alive more than the original which was more or less just barren wastes unless plot device.
I tried to split my list genres so there'd be a bit of everything, but I definitely agree with most of yours. My only gripe is trigun.
I understand how they took the source material and completely warped it to attempt to fit a new story and give it a whole new life of its own, and minute to minute the show is fine, it's when you look at the whole story being told at once that things start falling apart and giant plot holes start showing up. Particularly in the first half of the season. The makers wanted a spectacle more than anything else and they delivered on that.
It was one I watched all the way through to see if they ever managed to even it out... They didn't. The pacing was terrible, the plot was worse, and the animation was somehow even worse than that. I think most ps1 games had smoother animations for their 3d models.
And the combat was laughably terrible. Still my favorite entry as well. I just felt so unhindered after getting through the first bit.
The one thing that really made it stand out to me was the caves. Some were short, most had hidden places in them that would normally be a pain to get to, and the larger ones were works of art.
considering it's on three different peoples suggested so far, I daresay it's likely worth a watch.
I generally watch the first episode of every new anime (and have been since the beginning of 2020).. The Vtuber one didn't especially catch me in that time, but it's not the first to slip through the cracks. I'll give it another go.
I've only seen oddtaxi from your list. I look forward to checking out the others.
As for worst.. I have one in mind but the name escapes me at this very moment. Oh right. Gibiate.
What have your favorite underrated anime of the 2020's been so far?
I feel like the article is extremely subjective, so I figured it'd be more fun to post your own top 10 good/bads.
I'll start with mine.
- Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle
- Dark Gathering
- Ya Boy Kongming!
- Great Pretender
- Summertime Rendering
- Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost
- Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater
- Uncle from Another World
- Digimon Adventures (2020)
- Muteking the Dancing Hero
I tried thinking of anime that I'd suggest to friends who are already fairly active watchers, but for some reason or another had them slip through the cracks.
Good god I feel like a glass cannon now.
Been running light armor 'demo man' since launch and while I do love all the changes, I feel super squishy at the moment. Maybe it's from me getting complacent playing diff 6 missions and then doing nothing but 10s last night, maybe it was bad luck, and maybe it was using kind of meme builds to test changes, I can't be sure..
Most bugs were casually two piecing me in a combo attack I could do literally nothing about if the first hit. Getting hit by a charger was likely a death sentence, even if the initial hit didn't kill. I feel like I need some kind of pathetic roll in dirt move to give myself some space before I try to stand up.
But all in all, I'm a glass cannon now, and I need to act like it and keep the bugs away at all times.
Being that the community is rather small at the moment, a lot of people just browse by new and see what there is to see (that's how I got here). I don't believe I've seen any particular community exclusively for generalized questions about oneself/ones sexuality, but there are plenty of specific communities to various sexualities as support communities.
I know there are a few verrrry small groups for asexuals, as I'm a part of them.
'Best' employers for fresh college grads.
I mean.. In-N-Out burger at #2.
I can't wait to play this in 2028 or after.
Borderlands is coming to consoles and PC next year.
Borderlands 4 has been announced for 2025. For a multitude of reasons, I'm more than happy to sit idly by and wait for a discounted game of the year edition or similar that includes the entirety of their dlc collection because you know there will be paid dlc. It's borderlands.
So I made a monored commander stax deck to end games quickly, but player removal was too strong.
A deck created using the deck building website, Moxfield.
So I went ahead and converted it into a much more janky izzet deck that gifts my playgroup symmetrical damage triggers so that even when I die, the game continues its downward spiral.
I'm still looking for cards to help me cast stuff both from not my hand, and not on my turn to maximize my commanders potential. Any suggestions are welcome.
Yesterday he didn't make it. (and I failed to post about it)
So I need a new handle and personality for the new one.
I'm open to suggestions on both material and face.
I really wish they'd use a different method.
11 Magic cards found where the card types include “planeswalker” and (the card is available on Paper) and (the set is “blb” or the set is “blc”)
Of the 11 new printings of planeswalkers, 4 are in the Commander precons, 1 is normally collectible from the set, and the other 6 have the commander set symbol but aren't in the decks.
This means that if you wanted a chance to pull them yourself from packs, you must be opening collectors boosters as they are the only ones with a slot for commander cards.
It feels so scummy of them to not use special guest slot for cards like this. It's not the first time, and it doesn't only affect the planeswalkers. There are some rather pricy rats (marrow gnawer and Ink eyes) also secluded from standard pull tables this way.
Anyone know when this started? I noticed it a year or so back when there was a green commander set card, but no green commander deck, but I cannot recall the card or set.
I am a professional construction carpenter. Feel free to ask me anything.
I've been working in construction for the past 11 years at this point with a few years before that in a part time role. I'm more than happy to lend whatever knowledge or insights I may have about work, life, or whatever.
I will be checking in sporadically to see if there are questions.
EDITED WELL AFTER QUESTIONS STOPPED: I'm still active-ish on Lemmy, so if you happen to find this and have a question, I will likely still get back to you.
am I the problem?
It seems that I'm unable through either ineptitude or issue to view long pictures. Help?
Changed my Password on the Website.
And ever since I changed my password, logging in through Jerboa puts me in a shrödinger state of access. I can see my subs and local posts but trying to view my profile or post will return a "not_logged_in" error or ask me to "Login First", and then disconnects the login account I was on and erases the login details for it. Please help.
