I've been playing it. It's very weird but enjoyable
Enshitification
I might have to get one of those if my watch ever stops working
I've never seen that stereotype. I'm not so sure it is one.
So basically capitalism
I'm pretty sure that my job is related to the majority of my mental health issues so I'm really happy to get out. It's pretty emotional though because 11 years at a job is a long time.
I can tell you something good that is happening this week. I got a job offer so I can quit the retail job I've been doing for 11 years.
I wear my PineTime everyday. Best watch I've ever purchased. It doesn't have too many bells and whistles but it tells me the time.
I knew someone that has that issue on their Fiesta, luckily that was only for those specific vehicles.
I haven't even thought about getting McDonald's ice cream in years just because it seems like they are never able to serve it so I'm not even going to try. When I want ice cream I'll go to the place that make ice cream on a cold slab.
I don't care what people say, automatic is superior.
Not very well but I'm sure I could figure it out after killing it a few times.
Yeah, I was playing the Guardians of the Galaxy game on Linux Mint the other day. It blows my mind what Proton can do.
I didn't have Netflix before the crackdown and I don't have it ever. Basically a net positive of 0.
Keep in mind that magnetic cables do not conform to USB C standards and specifications and are therefore never recommended for the sake of compatibility and safety. They may work for certain use cases but I wouldn't use them personally.
Open source physical keyboards do exist though
This was a one off that hasn't been updated in almost a year. I doubt it's getting any more updates.
I agree Florisboard is unusable as a daily driver
I'm new to OSM and have some basic questions about editing
Hello everyone. I've just started the adventure of contributing to OSM and have questions. What is the etiquette when it comes to creating "areas"? As in, for example, a Walmart. Do you create an area around the entire property and level it as retail? And then the building. Do I call the building itself "Walmart" or do I just call it "shopping center" or whatever it's called and leave the Walmart part to a point? Basically what I'm asking is should buildings themselves be specific to the business or should that be left solely to the point?
Has anyone used or contributed to OpenStreetMap?
I've tried using it over the years but I never liked it because there was no information. So last night I looked at my local city and there is almost no information at all. I spent a few hours last night adding buildings and restaurants and removing incorrect items. It was actually kind of fun and therapeutic and I plan to do more of it tonight. My girlfriend thinks it's dumb and I'm wasting my time because Google maps and Apple maps and Bing maps exists but she just doesn't understand open source.
Edit: Apologies, I just realized this question is not Linux specific.
The current state of my N64 collection
Just thought I would share my N64 collection with the retro gaming community on Lemmy. Let me know if you have any questions.
Any love for the N64?
I don't see many posts here about the N64 and it doesn't look like there is an N64 community on lemmy.world It's the console I have the most nostalgia for and I have over 130 games in my collection. I'm currently playing a ROM hack called SM64: Beyond the Cursed Mirror. It has some pretty challenging platforming but it is fun.
