Love a leg cramp first thing in the morning.
I like the ones where they threaten us with a good time and say they might quit
Not green
I'm not a sports person but I'm going to a social thing for the game. Gonna just support the team that currently has the ball
Because they were both founded by fascists and exist solely to extend american military reach?
New details of a human rights complaint lodged on behalf of Aboriginal NT police officers have emerged, alleging 'countless' examples of racism by non-Indigenous members of the force.
I assumed it was well known.
Yeah same. Must be some issue with the image server
Are images on aussie.zone broken for anyone else or is this a federation issue with lemmy.ml?
I got a Bundaberg mixed drinks mixed pack at Aldi. Really living the dream with this here ginger beer.
It's total horseshit.
And it was for a participation appointment that's literally just someone reading a participation plan I'm already aware of and asking if I want to change anything. It's something I could easily do in the app and save an operator for someone trying to call.
Hey Centrelink, if my appointment is booked for 2:30pm, that means it's at 2:30pm and you shouldn't call twice at 9:23 and 9:36 and get pissy that I'm not available. "Be sure to be ready at the time it's scheduled for." THAT TIME ISN'T FOR FIVE HOURS GO AWAY.
Also Astro Bot is an amazing game. Strong recommend.
Parts of the lyrics aren't that cheery, but it's a fun song to disengage from the news cycle to.
People aren't required to abruptly stop talking about the subject of their posts to also remind people that other companies are shit also. That's absurd.
Then you'd feel at home at one of these rallies
You were correct it turns out, but also people started showing up at like quarter to ten lol
You're working under the assumption the accusations have been substantially proven. They haven't. They simply haven't, and this witchhunt achieves nothing.
It totally is. But I don't think breaking it even more is the solution here. So that's why I'm out to march today with the CFMEU, and all the other unions in solidarity
A good day for some solidarity.
The workers voted for this leadership and are out protesting today in support of it. The democratically elected union leadership was removed and union funds are being used by the non elected administrators. None of the allegations matter in the face of the fact that the next liberal government now has the power to destroy any union in the country at will without justification.
Again, these things need to be decided in court. Parliament is not court. This legislation is antidemocratic. It is not okay for the government to get involved like this. We have separations of government power to try and prevent things like what that poem is describing.
Even if every claim is true, this is not how this is meant to happen.
I think you might be right? I'm seeing both numbers thrown around, so there's a bit of confusion I think.
