Trump Melts Down Over ‘Trash’ Fox News Poll That Shows Biden Ahead
  • Trump, being the man-baby that he is, melts down over everything. This shouldn't be surprising...

  • "I can't stay quiet": Melinda French Gates backs Biden in first-ever POTUS endorsement
  • Maybe she just wants to user her previous surname more now that she's divorced?

  • I can't disagree.
  • Lane assist is nice when it works. But things like rain, night, etc throw it off WAY too easily. You know, things that would normally be encountered while driving. So yeah, it get turned off.

  • The Christian right is coming for divorce next
  • I suppose I could call myself sane and I'm from the US. My outlook is pretty grim honestly. We have far-right "christians" trying to turn the US into a theocracy and install a dictator. It's real Hand Maid's Tail shit and it's scary as fuck.

I don't think we have crossed the point of no return yet but we are damn fucking close. I also don't know that there is going to be a way out of this without violence.

One thing I CAN say for sure, if Trump wins in November we have crossed that line and the US is going to be fucked for a long time.

  • I miss text-based tutorials
  • I feel this in my soul. I'm SOOOO fucking sick of a 20+ minutes video that could be like 2 paragraphs of text. I can't tell you how many times I have to pause, rewind, watch again, pause some more, etc videos. I get it if there is something that has to be shown visually but if you are just running commands or something why do I have to watch it?!

  • Roger Stone Caught on Tape Discussing Trump’s Plan to Challenge 2024 Election
  • Of course the orange turd is going to challenge it, this shouldn't surprise anyone. He wasn't even given a slap on the wrist for inciting a mob to try to overthrow the government. Why wouldn't he try again?

Stone is just a useful idiot which also shouldn't surprise anyone.

  • McDonalds removes AI drive-throughs after order errors
  • Yeah I've seen a lot of dumb LLM implementations, but this one may take the cake. I don't get why tech leaders see "AI" and go yes, please throw that at everything. I know it's the current buzzword but it's been proven OVER AND OVER just in the past couple of months that it's not anywhere close to ready for prime-time.

  • A second Uncharted movie is officially in the works
  • Budget $120m, box office $407m (according to wiki). There is ZERO chance a second one can even come close to those box office numbers. I think a lot of people were just excited for a movie based on the games. I was one of them, just glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters, lol.

  • It'll show up soon, along with a sticker for your closest national park.
  • Did it have a CVT? I hate those damn things...

  • And his followers will lap it up without a second thought and ignore anything that says otherwise.

  • If you don't work IT, retail, or food service what do you do for work?
  • Does consulting for energy utilities helping them improve their mapping systems (GIS) count as IT? I do manage cloud infrastructure but also assist with all the various pieces and parts that go into digital maps and integrations.

  • Wait, a "religious" person as a child molester? Say it ain't so! This is the one bad apple I'm sure.

    Do I need the /s?

  • That doesn't look like something that should be left behind
  • Tow truck drivers have an abnormally low number of fucks to give on a good day so this tracks.

  • I got "snipped" last September. It did take longer to heal than I was told but the worst of it was like the first 48 hours. Laid on the couch playing video games with frozen peas on my junk. Overall no regrets or complaints. I still need to do the follow-up lab to make sure it was completed, I'm just lazy and haven't done it.

  • the asshole that put lead in gasoline.

Given the knowledge of the time it increased performance and fuel economy. It wasn't until decades later we realized it was horrible to humans and we started to phase it out.

I mean, asbestos was seen as a "wonder" material for a long time before we understood how terrible it was. Hell they used asbestos snow in wizard of oz.
