since last update I can't figure out how to answer

sounds a bit stupid, but since the last update I do get answers to my comments in my messages, but I can't directly answer them, or I don't find the correct button for that

now I go to to the original thread, search for my comment, scroll through the answers, pick the one I wanted to reply to and then I can answer

I'm not sure, if I'm just to bind/stupid, but earlier I somehow had that option - IIRC

can anyone tell me, if I do something wrong here?

  • What to do is long hold on the username of the person you want to reply to (or anywhere on that horizontal area) - a vote/reply/etc bar should appear below.

    Oddly enough, the opposite is true when viewing comments in a thread - the bar is visible be default but can be hidden with a long hold!

      • No worries - it wasn't like that in 0.0.32, but it appeared in 0.0.33.

        However, since I replied, I just saw someone say that it's reverted in 0.0.34, so hopefully my advice won't be needed soon!

  • Try tap holding on the comment header to show the action bar. This should be fixed in the next version, between a few of us making PRs to streamline comment collapsing and hiding the comment action bar, we accidentally messed up the UI for the inbox and profile views a little bit.
