It was unclear who originally produced the video, which featured a montage of muscle-bound men, bolts of electricity flying from DeSantis' eyes, and activists lamenting what they characterized as his efforts to restrict transgender rights.
And
The Log Cabin Republicans, a conservative group that advocates for gay rights, said Republicans need to stand up against "radical Left gays" but that DeSantis had gone too far.
"DeSantis and his team can't tell the difference between commonsense gays and the radical Left gays," the group said in a tweet late on Friday, saying the presidential hopeful "has just ventured into homophobic territory."
It would be helpful if the Log Cabin Republicans could define the difference between “commonsense gays” and “radical Left gays”. Is it something like the “radical Left gays” are in favor of higher corporate taxes or “commonsense gays” are in favor of separate but equal marriage equality? Or is there some other underlying schism between these two groups?
It's such a bizarre video. I don't think I've ever seen a campaign video so openly celebrating that people are (or even believe they are) being directly harmed by your policies.
Wait… you mean to tell me that a racist conservative loser that shipped illegal immigrants to other cities as a prank to oWn tEh liBz just might be a transphobic bigot as well?
