Any block would draw outrage from the right but also likely from a significant segment on the left: During two significant global conflicts, limiting access to the app would cause consternation among those for whom X still has important utility.
I'm sorry, but after a certain amount of time (>1 year at this point), I have little sympathy for anyone who hasn't found an alternative to used-to-be-Twitter. 'Nazi bar' and all that. The more normal users on the app, the more validated the RW neo-fascists seem through proxy.
