Jupiter Corporation has announced Picross S+ for Switch. It will launch via Nintendo eShop in 2024 for $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99.
The latest in the Picross S series, in which problems from the Picross e series can be played!
Picross S+ allows users to play puzzle problems from the nine titles in the Picross e series, which have been downloaded a total of 680,000 times as Nintendo 3DS download-only software, using the Picross S system. Basic software containing problems from the original Picross e, with problems from Picross e2 through e9 available for download as additional paid downloadable content for [$4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99 each]
So Picross E will come by default, rest of E2 to E9 will be available as separate DLCs, with 4.99 each.
Don't think of as all the Picross games you aren't able to play, think of it as you have so many Picross games you will never run out. Whenever one game is over, there is 2 or 3 additional games just waiting for you.
And honestly, my biggest mindblow was finding out Piccross 3D was not made by Jupiter, but rather, by Hal Laboratory. That means two unfortunate things. One: I'm never getting another one of the best version of Picross, since those people love to do their thing. Two: I am not really invested into making these PC releases work out anymore.
