What happened to lemmy.world and lemmy.ml?

They went down for a lot of time. Are their downtimes linked somehow?

When did lemmy.world go down for a lengthy period? I've been on and off all day with nothing more than 2m disruptions, which I assumed were routine restarts while the admins test stuff.
They were down for me too, I'm assuming it was because they both updated to the new version.
